New owner

While essentially the same as a Pre-purchase Inspection, the focus of a Home Check-up Inspection is different. It will confirm the basic structure and systems of the house and can help you to prioritize repairs (if any). It will help you to understand the systems in your new house.

Many potential buyers make the decision to make a firm offer over on a house rather than than risk losing it. If you’ve made this decision, a Home Check-Up or Maintenance Inspection will help you to confirm the state of your purchase.

Long time owner

Even people who have been in their house for some time can benefit from a Home Check-up Inspection. Subtle changes and deterioration happen over time and may not be noticed. A Home Check-up Inspection will identify areas of potential concern and help you to prioritize repairs.
